Fall Natural Communion (Sweat) Lodge September 20-21
In honor of the direction of the West and the time of Evening and Autumn, we will pour water on sacred stones, releasing the healing powers of Natural Alchemy to help us move into the future, releasing the past, cleansing and healing and coming back into harmony with our lives so we can go forward into the coming season of Autumn. Autumn is a time of challenge and transformation,of Harvest and Thanksgiving. Come and join us for a day or weekend of Natural Communion in September.
Our lodge will begin Saturday afternoon at 1 pm and go into the evening. People are welcome to stay over, camping or staying in a room at the lodge. There will be a program Sunday Morning offered, to be annouced.

Natural Communion Lodges are offered at least 4 times a year as we transistion from one season into the next. Through this alchemical communion with the powers of nature, we are supported in our life's earthwalk and the mission we came in to accomplish. We pray with and for all of creation as we work to bring balance and peace within ourselves.
Heated stones are brought into the center of a circle of people held within the womb of the mother represented by an upside down basket that is covered. The space is dark warm and becomes moist as water is poured on the stones. Steam rises and prayers are offered. We offer and open ourselves to the powerful forces that are present for our healing, clarity and cleansing. We pray for all beings, knowing we are all One.
This upcoming lodge will be offered Sunday September 2 beginining in the early afternoon and going into the lodge early evening. Plan to arrive by 1pm if you are not already here for the open house retreat. If you are camping come in the morning to set up your site and get situated.
First timer's are welcome and feel free to call me to answer any questions you might have before the lodge. Below is a set of general guidlines and what to bring etc.
Wear comfortable cloths to be outside in the woods all day. Bring cloths to wear into the lodge that are loose fitting, but cover you. T-shirt and underwear is minimum. As a woman I like to wear a long skirt into the lodge. After the lodge you can change back into your woods cloths. You may want a towel or two. If you plan to camp here after the lodge, you can bring your own equipment or rent equipment here. You may want to bring extra cloths, and toiletries. You will also need to think about additional food depending on the length of your stay. You can also stay over in the retreat room, or salao.
We have a pot of beans and tea we serve after a lodge, please bring a little something to go with the bean soup. Bread, fruit, cheese, salad, apple cider, deserts, etc. You may also want to have a water bottle and some fruit to bring to the lodge area. It is good to eat lunch and then you will not eat a meal again until after the lodge.
